Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and kind Community Care Team Lead with a background of working in care to support our team of Care Professionals. The successful candidate will organise and prioritise their workload, have the ability to lead a team and become the person our care professionals’ approach for support .
The role will be a full-time position which will include a hybrid working pattern, part in our office in Belfast, and part working in the community supporting our clients and care professionals.
As a Community Care Team Lead you will be paid an hourly rate of £13.00 to £13.50 per hour. In addition to this you will be paid 45p per mile for travel and performance related bonuses.
Some duties will include:
1. Providing an excellent level of care to our clients in their homes (supporting with personal care, companionship, home help, medication support etc).
2. Completing regular support visits and care certificate observations with care professionals
3. Completing daily audits on clients and care professionals’ notes, identifying and reporting changes to management
4. Regularly complete ‘well-being’ checks with new staff to ensure they feel supported in their roles
5. Evidence and always promote best practice and become the person the care professionals’ approach for support
Qualifications
6. Minimum of one year experience working in a domiciliary care setting
7. NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (or interested in working towards this qualification)
8. NISCC Registration (preferable)
9. Passion for delivering the highest quality care to our clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes.
10. Must be confident to use care management technology including providing support and training to CAREGivers.
11. Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office and virtual communication platforms with the aptitude to learn and adopt new technologies and software where appropriate.
12. Must have full driving license and access to transport within the territory to visit clients.
13. Be organised and flexible to meet the needs of the business.
