Job Summary:
The role of Supply Chain Quality Manager encompasses the management of the overall end-to-end quality function for the business. This position is directly responsible for maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 17001 accreditations and covers supply chain quality and delivery through MRP and production planning. Leading a team of three buyers, three quality engineers, and four indirect staff within stores, receipt, and dispatch functions, this role is pivotal.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Serve as the Management Representative for the business on quality-based activities internally and externally.
2. Maintain and develop the Quality Management System aligned with applicable Quality Management standards and regulatory certifications.
3. Conduct appropriate testing to ensure product adherence throughout the realization process to company and regulatory standards.
4. Cultivate a quality-first culture within the organization.
5. Develop, implement, and manage an effective supplier quality performance monitoring process and drive improvements where adverse supplier performance affects product manufacture or performance.
6. Oversee the supply chain function, controlling MRP use and accuracy.
7. Manage the store's function, supporting inventory for customer deliveries, including goods receipt and dispatch.
8. Ensure PPV is delivered.
9. Manage and maintain a customer complaints system, identify root causes of non-conformances, and implement corrective actions to improve the product realization process.
10. Lead initiatives to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) throughout the business.
11. Support Improvement Projects, owning and leading initiatives as appropriate.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
1. Previous experience as a Quality Manager in a production processing environment
2. Familiarity with company and industry quality standards and processes
3. 6 Sigma experience
4. Membership in a recognized quality organization
5. QMS auditing experience
6. Understanding of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
7. Proficiency in computer technology and systems
8. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
9. Strong leadership and management skills with a proactive approach
10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
11. Ability to lead both peers and direct reports effectively
12. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
