We are looking for an experienced Roster Co-ordinator to join our team.
About Us:
Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a whānau focused, kaupapa Māori values based, health and social services organisation providing professional health services to our local Hawkes Bay community and wider Kahungunu rohe from Wairoa to Wairarapa. Our health, social, education and community development teams have been working successfully with whānau for over 39 years.
About the Role:
As a Roster Coordinator, you’ll be the backbone of our scheduling process, ensuring our Homecare staff are matched with our whānau seamlessly. You’ll manage the rostering system, troubleshoot last-minute changes, and ensure a smooth, efficient allocation of Homecare Support staff. Your role will involve working closely with both staff and whānau, providing excellent customer service and resolving challenges quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and organise rosters that align with both staff availability and whānau schedules.
* Handle whānau calls and staff requests, adjusting rosters as needed.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with staff and whānau with aroha and manaakitaunga, ensuring excellent customer service and whānau care.
* Proactively identify and implement work process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in roster coordination and electronic rostering systems. i.e. Carecall or similar systems
* Previous experience in Support Worker mahi
* Solid background in office administration, with attention to detail.
* Good level of computer literacy, especially in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to apply Home Care Support regulations to real-life situations.
* Strong customer service skills, with a focus on building lasting relationships.
* Capable of managing competing priorities and making informed decisions quickly.
* Creative, innovative, and solution-focused, particularly in changing environments.
* Resilient, self-motivated, flexible, and proactive in solving problems.
Essential Qualifications:
* Level 3 or 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate
* Full Driver’s License.
