We are currently seeking a qualified finance professional for a part-time Finance Director role. This position requires an individual with a strong finance background and manufacturing sector experience. The successful candidate will provide expert leadership and advice to senior stakeholders and board members. Key Responsibilities: Audit Preparation: Lead the preparation for audits, ensuring all financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations. Cashflow Management: Develop and implement strategies to optimise our cash flow, ensuring we have the liquidity needed to meet our obligations and invest in growth. Profit and Loss Improvement: Analyse our financial performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement to boost our profit and loss statement. Stock Control: Oversee stock control processes to ensure accurate inventory management and minimise discrepancies. Team Supervision: Provide leadership and guidance to our accounts team, stepping in to supervise when needed. Monthly Management Accounts: Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly management accounts and management information, providing insights to support decision-making. External Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including invoice finance partners, banks, legal advisors, and insurance providers. Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with investors, auditors, suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders to ensure the company's financial interests are protected and promoted. Additional Partners to Consider: Regulatory Bodies: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and liaise with regulatory authorities as needed. Tax Advisors: Work with tax advisors to optimise tax planning and compliance. IT and Systems Providers: Collaborate with IT and systems providers to ensure the financial systems are robust and support business needs. Human Resources: Partner with HR to align financial strategies with workforce planning and development. Qualifications: ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar senior financial leadership role. Other: £65k - £75k (FTE) 2 or 3 days per week (to be agreed)
