An exciting opportunity has arisen for fourBand 4 Assistant Practitionersto join our well-established and supportive multidisciplinary team. You will provide holistic care and support to adults experiencing theirfirst episode of psychosis (FEP), contributing to their recovery and empowerment.
You will work alongside a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and specialists in employment and welfare rights. Together, we deliver collaborative health and social care focused on recovery and social inclusion.

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the delivery ofperson-centered care and treatment plansin collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT).
• Promotingsocial inclusionand helping individuals regain their social roles.
• Conductingphysical health and wellbeing screeningsto support holistic care.
• Facilitating group programs aimed at reducing isolation and fostering peer support.

• Strongrisk assessment and safeguarding skillsto ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals.

The Camden Early Intervention Service is an innovative and forward-thinking team working with service users experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis (FEP).
Camden EIS is a well-established, multi-disciplinary team serving a culturally diverse London Borough.
The Early Intervention Service is committed to:
• Providingearly assessment, diagnosis, and treatmentfor FEP.
• Deliveringculturally sensitive, person-centered care, with a focus on stability, skill development, and social role recovery.
• Promoting both symptomatic and social recovery through effective engagement with service users.
• Ensuring the initial experience of service contact is neither disconcerting nor stigmatizing.
• Educating and supporting carers, involving them as fully as possible in the care process.
You will be responsible for assisting individuals in identifying their support needs and contributing to their recovery plans. This includes practical tasks to support keyworkers and contributing to group programs for service users.
Applicants should demonstrate:
• A knowledge ofmental health conditionsandpsycho-social interventionsfor individuals experiencing FEP.
• A commitment to working in acommunity mental health setting, with prior experience in mental health being highly desirable.
• A proactive and supportive approach, with access toclinical supervision, peer support, and trainingthrough the Early Intervention Training Programme.
