The key responsibilities and duties of the Stock Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
1. Controlling and managing the handling and storage of unsalvageable/scrap parts according to defined processes.
2. Ensuring that scrap parts are moved to the designated scrap storage area in compliance with established procedures.
3. Coordinating with product lines to ensure scrap parts are available for customer viewing.
4. Collaborating closely with product lines to support customer requirements.
5. Working with product lines and finance to ensure timely disposal of scrap parts.
6. Maintaining documentation for scrap parts as per defined processes.
7. Monitoring the remaining shelf life of parts and products with limited shelf life.
8. Disposing of parts or products nearing expiration in accordance with defined procedures.
9. Promoting required standards of work.
10. Upholding and maintaining standards of general housekeeping.
11. Controlling and managing the process of taking pictures of scrap parts.
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
12. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with a solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain logistics within the aviation industry
13. Equivalent to GCSE A-C grades
14. Good knowledge, awareness and understanding of PPE
15. It would be preferable but not essential for the applicant to have worked in an aerospace environment
16. Confident IT skills including Microsoft Office
17. An awareness of the Major Accident Prevention plan (MAPP)
18. Team player who is also able to work autonomously
19. Excellent time management skills
20. Strong organisational skills
21. Ability to forge strong relationships with other teams across the business
22. Flexibility required as may be require to work additional overtime hours
23. Working with computers and screens for prolonged periods
24. Mandatory Training will be required
