Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance Oversight: Manage the maintenance schedules and operations for a fleet of 15 machines, ensuring uptime and reliability.
* Team Leadership: Lead a team of 4 technicians (projected to grow to by6 2026), assigning tasks and providing guidance.
* Customer Collaboration: Act as a point of contact for customer feedback, prioritising maintenance tasks based on operational needs.
* Coordination of Resources: Plan and allocate technicians to on-site tasks, ensuring efficient response times and effective solutions.
* Prototyping and Production Cross-Over: Work closely with the prototyping and manufacturing teams to refine builds and enhance system performance.
* Regulatory and Compliance Standards: Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and industry regulations, particularly in fluid systems, regulators, and hydrogen compression technologies.
* Future Planning: Contribute to the development of a potential shift system to provide 24/7 support as operations scale.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Technical Background: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in the oil and gas, compression, or fluid systems industries.
* Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate cross-functional tasks.
* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to prioritise and address technical challenges efficiently.
* Customer-Focused: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with pressure systems, regulators, and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
* Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with prototypes and evolving processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in hydrogen compression systems or a similar fluid systems industry.
* Background in compressed gas, oil and gas, or renewable energy technologies.
