The role will require you to supervise others in the workplace whilst working to guidelines set out by Caerphilly Catering Services to ensure correct performance standards are achieved. The successful candidate will therefore need to possess excellent leadership skills. The Cook in Charge role reports to and is supported by the Operations Supervisor or Manager where, as a team we work together to provide nutritious and healthy meals to the children of the Borough whilst observing all food hygiene and safety regulations. For the role, we ask that you have: A level 2 qualification in Food Safety An understanding of the role to perform duties effectively and efficiently The ability to exercise good judgement when dealing with issues that are of a sensitive nature.
