Description
* Evaluate the business processes and structures within the Group in the UK regarding governance, business risk management, internal control system functionality, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Adopt a data-analytics-oriented audit approach to identify risk areas, collaborating closely with audited functions to complement their expertise with your objective and independent perspective.
* Summarise the results of your assessment concisely in an audit report, deriving recommendations for improving business processes in conjunction with the audited functions. Ensure sustainable implementation of agreed management actions as part of the follow-up.
* Engage with all levels of the hierarchy, including Senior Management, to obtain input for the audit project and present your results.
* Gain insight into the Group and expand your network, preparing the basis for future development steps throughout the Group.
* Participate in audit projects that may involve teams across various global locations.
Profile
A successful Corporate Auditor should have:
* A degree in a relevant field.
* Demonstrable professional work experience, preferably in Auditing (internal/external), Financial Services, Accounting, Controlling, or Risk Management.
* Additional relevant qualifications (e.g., CIA, CFSA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA), project experience, and strong IT skills.
* Exceptional analytical skills, strategic thinking, and an interest in economic issues and complex topics.
* High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a professional level of English.
Job Offer
* A salary range of £55,000 to £65,000 per annum plus car benefit, taking total compensation to approximately £75,000.
