Our client is a leading manufacturer that is dedicated to producing products that's quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong finish to 2023 and a exceptional start to the first half of 2024 they are looking for an Design Manager With progression to Director to join their Senior Management Team.
Role & Responsibilities:
Overseeing team of 4 Mechanical Design Engineer's with the development of adding additional members to the team
Working on a range of machinery supplied across the world
Overseeing a range of projects, delegating workloads, ensuring projects are running on time
Interface between Design Team and customers,
Overseeing risk assessments of machinery, responsible for machine safety
Reporting in to the Board of Directors
Managing design from concept to completion
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Proven experience at Senior Design Engineer level specifically with Special Purpose machinery
Working with AutoDesk Inventor, SolidWorks design packages
Experience leading a design team, ensuring work is completed to high standards and on time
Mechanical Engineering Degree
DMFEA, DMF, FMEA knowledge
