Job summary The Pre-assessment of patients prior to surgery is an essential aspect of the surgical journey. It involves ensuring the patient is fully optimised for their surgery in a variety of ways. Working directly with the patients and MDTs such as Anaesthesia, Pharmacy and Surgical Specialities to name a few. The work is constantly varied and very satisfying. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced registered nurse/ODP to become a Band 6 in the surgical pre assessment team. The successful candidate will be a knowledgeable team player who will work with a range of registered and non-registered staff to provide a range of services such as assessment of patients and relevant clinical tests.
