At my client’s nursery, the focus is on equipping children with essential life skills and preparing them for a smooth transition to Reception. Early Years Educator Main Duties:
* Provide outstanding care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years in a fun, stimulating environment.
* Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s development in line with EYFS.
* Observe and track children’s progress, celebrating their milestones and achievements.
* Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Be a role model for positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional growth.
* Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
* Tailor activities to meet each child's individual needs and learning style.
* Maintain a clean, organised nursery room, ready for each day’s adventures.
* Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
* Work collaboratively with other Nursery Practitioners and Senior staff to create a fun, supportive environment for both children and staff.
Early Years Educator requirements:
* Previous experience working as an Early Years Educator in a nursery setting
* Level 2 minimum in Childcare or equivalant
