We are looking for a Senior Home Support Assistant. Your duties will be: Providing care and support to people in their own homes Carrying out Environment Risk Assessments. Supporting the induction of new Home Support Assistants. Assisting members of the Management Team to deal with medication issues. Completing Community Observation check lists. Supporting the Management Team to complete necessary quality assurance audits. Office cover to deal with low level enquires from staff and Service Users. You will need; To hold RQF Level 2 or equivalent eg. NVQ Level 2 in care. To have at least 2 years experience of working with vulnerable people. To hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle. To be able to work shifts. The role will be a mixture of ‘hands on care’ (approximately 60%) and low level management tasks. The successful applicant will undertake an enhanced DBS check.
