We are looking for a Senior Home Support Assistant. Your duties will be:
* Providing care and support to people in their own homes.
* Carrying out Environment Risk Assessments.
* Supporting the induction of new Home Support Assistants.
* Assisting members of the Management Team to deal with medication issues.
* Completing Community Observation checklists.
* Supporting the Management Team to complete necessary quality assurance audits.
* Office cover to deal with low level enquiries from staff and Service Users.
You will need:
* To hold RQF Level 2 or equivalent, e.g., NVQ Level 2 in care.
* To have at least 2 years experience of working with vulnerable people.
* To hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
* To be able to work shifts.
The role will be a mixture of ‘hands-on care’ (approximately 60%) and low level management tasks.
The successful applicant will undertake an enhanced DBS check.
Hours: 35 hours per week
