Sales Role Description
Your place in our team
As a contracted team member you will enjoy a flexible work structure along with support and fellowship from everyone at On Radar. You will work remotely, much of the time on your own so being able to plan and organise your time and prioritise your work are essential skills. Remote doesn't mean detached and you will communicate frequently with other team members on WhatsApp. You will also get to see other human beings on occasion. We even hold in person meetings occasionally!
What you will be doing
As a sales person you will be spreading the word about the magic of Grant Genie to UK charities.
You will be supplied with a block of charities to contact. Your role will be to reach out to these charities and make them aware of what Grant Genie can do for them by making the process of finding and applying for grants quick and easy. You will be supplied with everything you need to contact them, demonstrate Grant Genie to them and answer their questions.
Taking your lead from Adam, our Managing Director, you will be on the front line of taking Grant Genie to the world. You will certainly need to be on the ball to impress Adam.
There is a sales methodology that you can follow if it helps or you can use your own way if that's easier for you provided you follow a few common‑sense guidelines
You will have access to our bespoke sales portal where you will be able to request a block of charities to work with, keep track of your progress and set an outcome code to show the result of your work.
What you will get
Charities in the UK carry out essential work that helps maintain the fabric of society. Bringing Grant Genie to these vital organisations and watching them flourish is extremely rewarding and satisfying.
In addition to the warm feeling and satisfaction you will also receive upto £150 for every charity you bring onboard. With over 180,000 UK charities, your earning potential is unlimited. Once you have completed the block of allocated charities, simply request another block.
Your essential skills
As you will be working remotely, you will need to be organised and capable of setting priorities and deadlines.
You will be talking to charities of various sizes and across multiple sectors so you will need to be a good communicator, preferably with proven sales skills. Familiarity with the charity sector is preferable but not essential.
Computer literacy is needed but you don’t need to be an expert or a genius.
A bit about us...
Grant Genie from On Radar uses cutting‑edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) to help charities and other non‑profit organisations find funding and then apply for that funding.
There are billions of pounds of funds available every year to charities but much of it never gets to the causes who need it most. They either don't think they are eligible or they feel the process is too onerous. We are on a mission to educate them that they are eligible and to make it easy for them to reach the funding. This starts with helping them articulate their project then searching for suitable funding. Once they've chosen a funder we help them put together a budget and a funding bid.
We are expanding and your role is to help us get our innovative platform in front of the right people who are often very busy and sometimes dubious about new technology.
