The Eminox Group is part of Hexadex Limited, a global group of engineering companies and majority employee-owned, with headquarters in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, UK.
The Eminox Group comprises three companies: Eminox Ltd, Ceramex Ltd, and SaveGuard, supplying products and services globally from our manufacturing facilities in the UK (HQ), Europe, North America, and Asia.
This is a newly created standalone role to support the business in its next stage of development across both its UK and overseas operations, based at our Gainsborough site.
Overview of duties
* The Finance Function supports the business in preparing, reporting, and analyzing financial performance for the Eminox Group of Companies.
* The purpose of the finance team is to provide timely and accurate business information to support effective decision making.
* Through the annual strategic planning and budgeting process, the finance function coordinates the setting of key performance objectives for the following year, as well as performing a business support function to drive performance improvements in the KPIs.
* Establish, maintain, develop, and test Internal Controls, Financial Policies, and Procedures.
* Perform cash flow forecasting and provide consolidated twice-weekly cash flow reports to the Finance Director identifying potential pinch points and corrective actions.
* Development and roll-out of consistent KPI measures to all Business Units.
* Monthly review of payroll across all Business Units.
* Monthly reporting of sales and margin analysis to the business.
* Monthly review of stock obsolescence and agreeing corrective actions.
* On-going maintenance of part costings/standard costing within the ERP system.
* On-going calculation and review of labour and overhead efficiencies.
* Bid Management - Support the sales team in preparing and managing bids, proposals, and quotations for new business opportunities.
* Interact with the sales and procurement teams to understand sales pipelines and potential cost movements.
* Provide assistance with the annual budgeting process including compilation of individual department budgets.
* Post project appraisal reviews for any significant investments.
* Provide assistance to the business’ Project Accountant on a potential ERP transition.
About you:
* Held a similar position as a financial controller or similar span of control.
* Ideally a background gained in a manufacturing environment with exposure to senior stakeholders and/or international operations.
* You must be a qualified member of an Accountancy Body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA).
* Hold a minimum of five years PQE.
* Involved with development and ongoing maintenance of standard costing.
* Detailed understanding and experience with ERP systems.
* Extensive knowledge of Excel.
* Governance and Controls.
* Effective communicator throughout all levels of the business.
* Be flexible to travel overseas (expected one trip every six to eight weeks).
