ChampionX is seeking an experienced Forklift Truck Operator located in Aberdeen. The Forklift Truck Operator will be responsible for the safe loading and unloading of 3rd party vehicles on site, moving chemical containers to and from storage locations and general housekeeping duties. Loading and unloading of vehicles; controlling vehicle movements onsite ensuring that site rules are adhered to at all times. Check correct labelling and packaging of chemical containers. Inspect chemical containers to ensure compliance with company and regularity standards. Be responsible for own safety and the safety of others by complying with all company regulations. Adhere to and follow quality procedures for activities within the Plant. Maintain accurate record and document keeping. Ensure all plant equipment is fit for purpose and available for use at all times. Assist with provision of information to ensure material requirement planning is accurate, and to assist administration staff in upkeep of SAP master and info records. Minimum Qualifications: B1 Forklift Certificate; previous experience in a range of counter balance trucks. Excellent communication, time management and prioritisation skills. A flexible approach to working and ability to work with others to achieve objectives. Physical Demands: This role requires working in a chemical manufacturing plant. Preferred Qualifications: B3 Forklift Certificate Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel. Experience in a chemical processing or handling environment preferable.
