Job summary In the role of Associate Practice Development Facilitator, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programmes of palliative and end of life care education across a range of diverse care settings in the Borough, including the hospital, community and care homes. You will have the opportunity to participate in the practice development of clinical services through audit, research and education, and as some education is now delivered remotely using technology, you are required to be IT literate. The postholder is required to hold a first level registered health or social care qualification (e.g. nurse, paramedic, social worker or other allied health professional ). Evidence of teaching within a clinical setting, understand the palliative and end of life care learning needs of staff across primary, secondary, and tertiary care and demonstrate post registration experience in palliative care/relevant field to the role. Our team typically work 9am-5pm Monday to Friday however flexibility is required to hold sessions/meetings outside these hours with prior agreement.
