Your Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with customers in their environments to drive their work to high standards.
* Design and implement efficient, automated solutions to reduce manual effort and costs.
* Promote high standards and best practices in code quality.
* Assist with updates and out-of-hours maintenance as needed.
* Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
Your Experience:
* Experience supporting live, mission-critical systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues within strict timeframes.
* Familiarity with industry-standard observability tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus) and environment maintenance is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, with effective fault-finding and debugging skills.
* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift).
* Experience developing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure), including native and standalone tooling.
Your Future Team:
You will work with software teams providing infrastructure and platform expertise, supporting modernization efforts, and maintaining systems on customer sites to upgrade and enhance their systems.
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will investigate and implement modern tools, using Infrastructure as Code and automation to support Linux-based solutions, mentoring junior team members, and promoting best practices.
