Job Description The Company Solis Recruitment have partnered with a growing Creative Agency based in London on the lookout for a Social Media Manager to join their team. The Roles The Social Media Manager will have a range of responsibilities that touch upon content strategy, community management, setting a paid social strategy and reporting on and optimising campaigns. Day to day duties include: Arranging the content calendar and overseeing content creation, which may include commissioning and creating content like blog posts, articles, video, graphics and emails Daily check-ins and oversight of client social feeds, to ensure content is going out correctly, & identifying reactive opportunities, issues, trends etc. Planning, implementing and monitoring paid media campaigns, with the support of clients’ media planning partners Running reporting and digital audits to assess client performance on digital channels Providing clients with insights and use data, to make recommendations for future campaigns Managing the agency’s social channels (when required), creating and contributing to blog posts, new business proposals, and participating in learning and development initiatives Skills and Experience Required To be successful in your application for the Social Media Manager role, you will have: 3 years’ experience working within Social Media, preferably within an Agency setting Experience in planning and executing social media campaigns, from setting the strategy, platform selection, audience insights, content strategy and creation, implementation and reporting Possess a good understanding of different Social Media channels, (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and have experience overseeing community management and issues management Excellent written and verbal English - copywriting skills are essential, especially writing for digital experiences Strong email communication skills and inbox management Comfortable working closely with clients Comfortable working independently on tasks The Perks The Social Media Manager role offers a salary between £32,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience.
