About the Role
The Sir John Brunner Foundation are recruiting a Governance and Compliance Officer.
Reporting to the Head of Governance and Compliance, the post holder will be responsible for assisting in providing a professional, effective and consistent governance service across the Sir John Brunner Foundation and its academies and provide administrative support to the executive leadership team.
This is a full time, full year role working 37 hours per week. The role will also require working outside of office hours as and when required for meetings.
Salary: Grade 7, £30,559 - £33,366 (SCP18 – 23)

What we are looking for
* Previous experience working in a clerical or administrative role
* An ability to take meeting notes accurately and efficiently
* Experience of clerking or acting as a secretary to committees and boards would be desirable.
* An ability to work flexibly, working evenings as and when required for meetings
* An excellent communicator who can build and maintain effective relationships with academies, governors, leadership teams, colleagues and trustees.
* Competent at MS Office
* Strong customer service skills
* Highly organised and methodical
