We are looking for an Outreach Youth Support Worker who:
1. is effective in building engaging and influential relationships with young people involved in or on the periphery of the Criminal Justice System and their wider peer groups, improving their life chances
2. is able to seek out and engage young people where they are, including schools, outside and in local youth clubs, supporting them to move forward positively
3. is able to effectively assess the needs of young people behaviour and plan and implement innovative interventions
4. can work in partnership and forge positive relationships with key agencies, e.g. education, police, social care and health
5. can represent the Integrated Youth Service competently and confidently in a range of contexts
6. are able to encourage restorative processes and foster

This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role. This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
We currently have one fixed term position for 18 months. External applicants will be offered a fixed-term contract and existing Ealing council employees will be offered the opportunity of a secondment. LBE employees must ensure a secondment release form is signed by their line manager before applying and emailed to by the application closing date.
