Job Title: Integrated Business Planning Lead
Location(s): Any RUK site.
Summary of Role: The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Lead is a key member of the Enterprise Performance Group (EPG) staff. The role is accountable for the Integrated Business planning system for Raytheon UK.
Main Duties:
1. Lead and oversee the development and maintenance of the IBP system, processes, tools and output reports.
2. Ensure that Mission Area and core demand for both the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP) are effectively captured and communicated to the Functional Leads, and lead/oversee the process for coordinated early planning and interlock of investment, infrastructure and resources plans to enable delivery of business plans.
3. Ensure implementation of effective Sales and Operations Planning & Execution processes to enable end to end planning and executions in support of Operations and Functional leadership.
4. Ensure effective prioritisation, preparation, and approval of internal Operational and Capital Expense (OPEX & CAPEX) change projects across the matrix Functions.
5. Ensure effective change management of the IBP for scenario planning and when the AOP or LRP is formally updated, and ensure that configuration controlled interlock between Mission Areas and Functional plans and inter Functional plans is maintained and communicated.
6. Manage effective Workload Forecast Planning such that resource demand is closely managed to match business demand.
7. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly review business performance against these metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IBP process, utilizing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
1. Demonstrable ability to implement and manage an IBP system, to include S&OP/E and resource planning.
2. Understanding of core business performance measures and the management actions required to control them.
3. At least 12 years of relevant, recent, demonstrable experience of successful performance in a highly regulated and/or controlled environment, exceeding customer expectations.
4. Proven ability as a team player who works well with others and builds lasting, constructive relationships across the business.
5. Demonstrate role model cultural behaviours. Supportive, with the character to anticipate and navigate sensitive and pressurised situations to overcome delivery challenges.
6. A capable leader and influencer, able to effect change through the matrix organisation, even where direct hierarchical control does not exist.
7. Proficiency in planning and forecasting software, as well as ERP systems and reporting / visualisation tools, specifically Power BI.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
10. An able communicator in verbal, written and presentational forms including at board level.
11. Full UK national, able to achieve UK SC clearance.
