Finance Administrator - Exciting Finance Opportunity in Guildford!
Location: Guildford - Free Parking (Must be able to drive!)
Salary: £25,000 per year + Benefits (20 days holiday, 8 bank holidays, Christmas bonus, Pension)
Hours: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)
We are looking for a Finance Administrator to join our client, who is a small family business based in Guildford!
This role offers a fantastic variety of responsibilities, allowing you to play a key role in both financial tasks and administrative support across the business.
*We are looking to speak to candidates with a background working in finance or currently pursuing AAT qualifications*
Your Role:
Accounts Responsibilities:
* Manage sales and purchase ledgers and credit control.
* Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and process payroll.
* Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
Administration Support:
* Handle customer service inquiries.
* Manage bookings for drivers (hotels, MOTs, services).
* Support office tasks such as typing quotations and delivery notes.
Skills/ Experience:
* A background in finance or currently pursuing AAT qualifications.
* At least 2 years of office experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette.
* Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, VT) is a plus!
* Previous experience in a finance or administrative role within logistics is an advantage.
