Using Autodesk products AutoCad and Revit and the use of Solidworks.
Produce 3D models of assemblies of valves and actuators.
Produce Revit families of Econ Products, valves, actuators, solenoids, etc.
The controlling and logging onto the system of models.
Producing STEP files for clients.
The design of jigs and fixtures for use in the workshop.
To be aware of and adhere to all health and safety requirements relevant to your work as set out by the HSEQ/ERIKS.
To undertake any other duties as may be required which are appropriate to the role.
Ensure that the workplace areas are kept clear, clean, and tidy - high standard of housekeeping.
Undertake any training courses assigned to you by management in order to be competent in your role.
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
Friday - 8:30am to 4:30pm
1hr lunch break
37 hours per week
About you:
HNC/HND engineering qualification, Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, product design, industrial engineering, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, etc.).
Experience with prototyping, testing, and materials selection.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and cost estimation.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work well in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
