Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced part time Social Work Practitioner to join Salford Adult Social Care. Main duties of the job To lead on and provide, highly specialist, individualised, Occupational therapy interventions for all patients admitted with a Neurological condition. The role involves clinical, leadership and educational opportunities to develop outstanding evidence-based practice in the occupational therapy management of patients with complex neurological conditions. Excellent communication skills will be required to liaise effectively with treating clinicians, the patient, their family members, and community services and support networks throughout the patient pathway. To lead on the development of the team and wider Neurorehab services to ensure they meet the high standards of excellence being driven across in-patient Neurorehabilitation. To provide effective and supportive leadership and management to the Occupational Therapy and Therapy assistant team at the Devonshire Unit as required.
