Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Social Work Practice Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality social work services in Bradford. In this role, you will be responsible for providing guidance, mentoring, and support to a team of social workers, ensuring they adhere to best practices and professional standards. Responsibilities:
1. Supervise a team of social workers, providing ongoing support, guidance, and mentoring.
2. Monitor and review caseloads, ensuring effective case management and adherence to policies and procedures.
3. Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to support the professional development of social workers.
4. Assist in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of social work staff.
5. Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless service delivery and effective multi-disciplinary teamwork.
6. Stay updated on relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in the field of social work, and ensure compliance within the team.
7. Provide consultation and support to social workers in complex cases or challenging situations.
8. Promote a positive and inclusive working environment, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
9. A recognized qualification in social work and registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., Social Work England).
10. Extensive experience as a qualified social worker, including a track record of successfully managing complex cases.
11. Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a social work setting.
12. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
13. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
14. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.

17. Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
