Ongoing Long-Term Contract
My client is currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join an ongoing contract for a major rail project based west of Leeds.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on a high-profile project, contributing to the successful delivery of key infrastructure within the rail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out of works in line with project specifications
* Creating and implementing method statements and work package plans
* Interpreting and executing design requirements
* Producing task briefs and work package plans for teams
* Ensuring quality control in accordance with project specifications
* Conducting services checks (CAT and Genny)
* Compiling accurate as-built documentation
* Ordering materials and tracking delivery progress
* Managing permit clearances and approvals
* Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety regulations on-site
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar engineering role within rail
* Strong understanding of design interpretation and execution
* Familiarity with setting out works and producing method statements
* Experience in managing materials, permits, and tracking project progress
* Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations within a rail environment
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
