We have an exciting opportunity within NHS Supply Chain for a Graphic Designer. The role is responsible for developing graphics for communications or marketing campaigns, editing video content, designing collateral for events, and production of professional PowerPoint presentations. The post holder will be a key member of our team developing materials and graphics to improve digital content on our websites. Our team is responsible for ensuring brand compliance when creating communications for both internal and external audiences. The graphic designer will also support web developers and the web manager to design and optimise digital content, to include consideration of both page layout and a consistent user experience (UX). Every day you will … Develop graphics for marketing campaigns, emails, social media or other digital content. Work collaboratively with the web and digital team to deliver the appropriate design, style, format, print or digital production to agreed deadlines. Carry out brand checking for presentations and corrections / improvements for both colleagues and senior managers, including board executives and the CEO. Work collaboratively to determine design requirements and budget on various projects. Develop concepts, graphics and layouts for innovative product presentations, presentations, websites and events (including stands, posters, rollups, animations etc). Create or edit video content or animations to help simplify and illustrate or communicate complex information, including adding subtitles and branding. Develop engaging visuals for social media content. Organise, manage and store project files, for easy access and collaboration. What can we offer you? Skills that will help you thrive in this role Experience working as a graphic designer developing digital materials for web content and social media, and, ideally, of designing and developing websites. Video editing and animation creation or story board creation. Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. Capability to collaborate, influence and engage with team members across functions, including senior management and other key stakeholders, to achieve desired results and ensure a joined-up customer experience. Experience in event collateral design, including exhibition materials, signage and presentations. Strong organisational skills with a focus on managing design files, ensuring proper storage, version control and file naming conventions.
