Mixed Tax Associate Director - Cardiff
Clark Wood has been instructed on an exceptionally rare opportunity, which offers the chance for an experienced Tax Senior Manager or Associate Director to join one of the UK's most respected national Top 20 firms. Our client offers very flexible arrangements for agile working and working from home 'WFH'.
There is a genuine opportunity to progress to partner at the firm, with a clearly defined pathway for development.
This individual can be Mixed Tax or have a focus on Private Client Tax/ Corporate Tax. The main purpose of the role would be to lead and develop the firm's regional tax consultancy offering while maintaining a significant existing client portfolio. The type of work undertaken by the Team includes tax enquiry work, providing tax advisory support on corporate transactions, advising on business restructures, and providing specific tax advice on a range of matters to our corporate clients and High Net Worth individuals.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Providing high-level advisory & planning services to a large existing portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients, focusing on SMEs, OMBs, groups, partnerships & HNWIs.
2. Business Development and Networking: developing client services and growing the tax portfolio.
3. Increasing awareness & exposure of the firm's tax services.
The local Cardiff office is commutable from areas all over the South Wales wider area, including Swansea, Neath, Llanelli, and Port Talbot, with the flexibility of working from home.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. CTA/ ACA Qualified
2. Relevant experience of IHT and CGT planning, advising on residence and domicile
3. Rewards/ Share Schemes exposure would be an advantage
4. Proven track record of Business Development
5. Experience within a Senior Manager/ Director level role
