Join us. Job Purpose: To support key aspects of financial control and reporting for the engineering function at Aston Martin. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is capable and comfortable when working in a cross-functional project environment. This is a grade 9 role. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Ownership of the Forecast, Budget and Business Plan preparation for specific areas of Engineering Finance. Consolidation of key Programme details, acting as a conduit between the VLC Finance team and business planning Support Operations and/or team in achieving and improving upon Budget and Business Plan targets. Preparation and review of monthly management information across all functions. Capital and expense project budgeting, forecasting and consolidated reporting Lead the preparation and presentation of financials to senior management. Delegated responsibility for Senior Manager of Finance Engineering when required. Chair, lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve key financial risks or issues. Challenge operating interfaces to help achieve the most cost-efficient results. Support external negotiations with key partners. Qualification & Experience: Candidates should have a proven track record of a broad financial and interpersonal skill set with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. Previous experience within a Financial engineering function. Educated to degree level (2:1 minimum). CIMA/ACCA qualified or passed finalist. Behaviours: Strong leadership and influencing skills. Strong organisational abilities to support co-ordination of critical car-line financial matters Strong excel and other desktop skills.
