We are looking for a skilled Corporate Food Technologist specializing in Asian sauces to join our culinary team. This role involves developing recipes, conducting tastings, and educating others about the use and preparation of various Asian sauces.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recipe Development:
Create and refine recipes using a variety of Asian sauces.
Experiment with ingredient combinations to enhance flavors and nutritional value.
2. Taste Testing:
Organize and conduct taste tests to gather feedback on new and existing sauce recipes.
Analyze results and make adjustments based on consumer preferences.
3. Culinary Education:
Develop educational materials and workshops to teach consumers about Asian sauces, their uses, and cooking techniques.
Provide cooking demonstrations to showcase the versatility of sauces in different dishes.
4. Food Pairing:
Suggest complementary ingredients and dishes that enhance the flavors of Asian sauces.
Collaborate with chefs and food bloggers to create content that highlights sauce applications.
5. Market Research:
Stay informed about trends in Asian cuisine and sauce usage.
Analyze consumer feedback to inform recipe development and product offerings.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Home Economics, Culinary Arts, Food Science, or a related field.
2. Experience in recipe development, particularly in Asian cuisine, is an advantage.
3. Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
4. Fluent in English and Chinese.
5. At least 5 years relevant experience.
6. Experience in managing projects in both retail and foodservice will be a plus.
