Role Overview
Are you a budding HR professional looking to take your career to the next level? This is an exciting opportunity to join Gwent Police as an Assistant HR Business Partner working within a fast-paced policing environment, allowing you to make a real difference to our people.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 5 x HR Officers and 2 x HR Assistant Officers, supporting the HR Team in the delivery of a proactive, effective, consistent and high-quality HR service.
In addition, you will support the Human Resources Business Partner in providing a comprehensive day-to-day Human Resources Service covering the full range of Human Resource related issues across all officer and staff groups, including project work where required.
You will provide professional advice and support to managers in all aspects of the HR Life Cycle, to drive consistency and compliance across the allocated areas of responsibility including sickness absence, performance and grievances (fairness at work).
