Job Title: Registered Children's Home Manager Location : Rochdale Salary : £55,000 per annum. An exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Children's Manager to oversee our client's home based in Rochdale on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for the effective running of the homes in accordance with Quality Standards and Regulations for Children's Homes and Ofsted guidelines. To be considered, it is essential that you have a Level 5 in Leadership & Management and have experience in a management position. We are looking for a passionate and hard working individual. This is a 3 bedded EBD home Our client is growing, so expect to move to a Regional/Area position within 2 years or less. Happy to consider a strong DEPUTY to move up. As the Registered Manager, your duties will include: Developing, mentoring and leading a vibrant and enthusiastic care team. Responsible for the effective day to day running of the home and the delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters. Deliver the organisations vision and values and best possible childcare to the children in the service. Build internal and external relationships with service users, families, staff, agencies, partners, and commissioners. As the Registered Manager, we are looking for someone who has: Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care A true passion for care and working with children To be considered for the Registered Manager position, we are looking for: At least 5 years' experience working in a similar (Ofsted) environment with at least 2 years at senior level. Supervision or management experience. Worked in a Children's residential setting. Confident meeting and exceeding Ofsted guidelines. Valid Enhanced DBS and on the update service.
