It is an exciting time for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) here in Nottinghamshire as we embark on a new term of office following Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) elections in May 2024. This will see the publication of a new Police and Crime Plan setting the strategic direction for policing, crime and victims' services over the next five years.
To achieve these ambitions, we are looking for a Commissioning Officer to work across the whole range of OPCC commissioned activity. You will be an enthusiastic and committed individual who will work as a team and with our partners to make meaningful change for the people of Nottinghamshire.
You will be interested in public sector transformation and delivering positive outcomes for victims, survivors and communities across Nottinghamshire. You may be able to bring insight into the role and will want to bring collaborative relationships to meet the needs of our communities. You will be highly organised, have strong problem solving skills and ideally some knowledge of community safety. You will be able to bring an enthusiastic and creative approach, will have excellent communication skills and proven experience of partnership working.
Through building positive and collaborative relationships internally and externally with police colleagues, partners and the public of Nottinghamshire, you will contribute to transformation and ensure the delivery of excellent services that provide effective safeguarding and which are value for money.
This role is a full time position, however job share or part time hours would be considered for the right candidate, with working hours preferences to be discussed at interview. Secondment opportunities are also available., Disability Confident
