Grade: E scp 11 27,269 to scp 17 30,060 Contract: Permanent Essential Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Hours: 37 per week Ask us about flexible working options to fit with your work/life balance - HappytoTalkFlexible The Role To support the SEND Assessment Officer to co-ordinate Education, Health and Care (EHC) Assessments and issue/ amend EHC Plans in accordance with the Children and Families Act 2014, the SEND Regulations 2014 and subsequent legislation and have responsibility for associated casework e.g. attendance at annual reviews, sourcing school placements. To advise parents, young people and professionals on the EHC needs assessment procedures and to ensure the preparation of information to parents and schools meets the statutory requirements. About You The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking and highly organised with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to manage a busy workload with competing priorities to ensure statutory timescales are adhered to and a high quality service to families. You will have a working knowledge of SEND and experience of liaising with parents/carers, schools and other agencies across education, health and social care.
