Treasury Operations Senior Analyst - Projects (12-month Fixed Term Contract)

Introduction to role
Support the Assistant Treasurer, Operations by driving the broader change agenda within Treasury, to deliver process efficiencies, liquidity improvement, risk reduction and/or enhanced governance/compliance. Identify and lead implementation of initiatives, providing specialist advice and managing key internal/external relationships. Particular current focus is supporting the Treasury Management System (Quantum) / SAP S/4HANA integration journey. Coach others to deliver and improve day-to-day operational requirements of the function.
Accountabilities
* Identify, evaluate and seek approval for the more significant change initiatives within the Treasury area (principally involving global cash management arrangements, banking connectivity, intercompany funding, acquisition integration and Treasury systems) to deliver process efficiencies, liquidity improvement, risk reduction and/or enhanced governance/compliance
* Challenge existing processes to drive continuous improvement and automation
* Act as principal initial contact to and provide support for other Finance or business-led projects that impact Treasury Operations
* Lead/support the above various activities with technical, operational execution and/or project management skills and advice
* Build and manage relationships with internal functions and external stakeholders/solution providers to deliver the required outcomes
* Coach and support analysts/others within the Treasury Operations and broader teams (c20% of the time) to help deliver the above / with solving day to day issues
* Liaise with and succinctly communicate the above to relevant stakeholders
Essential Skills/Experience
Skills
* Excellent understanding and experience of integrating the global cash management processes of Treasury Management Systems and global accounting systems
* Ability to influence and deliver change projects in a collaborative manner with multiple internal and external stakeholders
* Strong communication skills, and analytical and problem solving skills
Experience
* Proven awareness of other treasury areas, gained through experience working in the Treasury function of a multinational group
* Experience of working within various cash management regulatory frameworks
Desirable Skills/Experience
* Professional corporate finance qualification (AMCT, MCT or CFA and / or a qualified accountant)
