MECHANIC/WORKSHOP FITTER
The busy Grounds Department at Cranleigh School requires an experienced and highly motivated full-time Mechanic/Workshop Fitter.
Cranleigh School is set in 280 acres of Surrey countryside, eight miles from Guildford and close to the thriving village of Cranleigh.
Responsibilities
The main duties of the role include effective organisation and control of servicing and repair of vehicles, turf care machinery, and equipment belonging to the Grounds Department and other departments within the resources made available.
Qualifications
Candidates should have excellent mechanical skills and hold an NVQ level 3 Mechanical qualification (Agricultural/Automotive) or equivalent. Previous relevant experience or skills in grounds maintenance, or a willingness to learn and acquire new skills, is also desirable.
The successful candidate should be a team player with a flexible approach to work, a can-do attitude, and the ability to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
A valid UK driving license is required.
This is a full-time, full-year role and the salary will be £37,000 per annum.
