Account Director – IT Solutions & Managed Services

The Role We are seeking a target-driven Account Director based in London to drive sales of next-generation IT infrastructure solutions, transforming the way businesses operate. The role involves identifying marketplace opportunities, prospecting and engaging new clients, developing proposals, managing the contract process, and building long-term consultative relationships. This is a hybrid role with a combination of working from home and being in our London office 2-3 days per week.
Candidate Profile
* Proven track record of selling Cisco and/or Microsoft solutions to commercial organisations or the public sector.
* Experience in selling hardware, software, professional services, and managed services.
* A motivated individual with a strong drive to win new logos and expand enterprise accounts.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude and a passion for being part of a world-class team.
* Ability to achieve team targets exceeding £600K GM PA.
* Fluency in English is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate as a business leader within the organisation, driving growth and revenue.
* Prospect, onboard, and retain new clients as part of a ‘win and retain’ strategy.
* Take a consultative sales approach in a role that balances both hunting and farming.
* Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, with some accounts available to inherit.

* Demonstrated success in selling Cisco and/or Microsoft solutions.
* Proven ability to win new business and expand client portfolios.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills at the C-suite level.
* Ability to identify and generate new business opportunities.
* Commercial awareness and a strategic sales mindset.
* Experience in delivering professional presentations.
* Capability to navigate and network within a customer organisation to engage key influencers and decision-makers.
* Proficiency in managing both long and short sales cycles.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
