Pay Range: £50,000 – 52,500 Plus excellent Bonus and Package

Working pattern: Monday to Friday Dayshift
We are hiring a newly created role for a Day shift-based Engineering Maintenance Manager, responsible to the Site Engineering Manager within a process manufacturing environment. This role will suit an Engineering Team Leader looking for more responsibility, accountability, and career development on days, or you may be a days-based manager already. You want to join a multi-site manufacturer for progression and career challenge.
Key Responsibilities – Engineering Maintenance Manager - Dayshift
1. You will lead the engineering maintenance function, in your areas, providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service.
2. Leading, coaching, and developing a team of multi-skilled engineers, setting and delivering KPI’s; striving for world class standards.
3. Responsible for ensuring that our facilities, assets, and machinery produce products to their maximum efficiency and output.
4. This includes leading a Total Preventative Maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical and automation equipment.
5. Implement standardised preventative, corrective and condition-based maintenance systems; a TPM system for the site.
6. Assisting in driving capital projects for the site – we are installing and commissioning high speed fill and pack lines.
7. You will monitor both maintenance and capital expenditure budgets.
Qualifications and Requirements – Engineering Maintenance Manager – Day Shift
1. A recognised engineering qualification, NVQ Level 3 equivalent, with experience of leading engineers.
2. A manufacturing background is preferred but completely open on backgrounds; it’s a leadership role.
3. Excellent Leadership Skills required.
4. Lean Manufacturing experience – RCM/TPM/OEE and related lean techniques.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to inspire and lead teams.
6. Knowledge of Planned Maintenance and PM development.
7. Knowledge of Lean and Asset Care techniques.
8. A proven track record of meeting agreed engineering maintenance performance targets.
