Role Outline:
Take the reins across automated testing from early conceptual stages through to outcome analysis and improvements
Design and implement automated tests using Java as well as maintaining test frameworks
Creating test cases against functional and non-functional requirements
Assess UIs against functionality, design standards and other metrics
Identify, record, resolve and monitor bugs
Liaise with the wider function including Product and Software Development teams to discuss best courses of action, grasp the technical foundations of the products and offerings you'll be testing, and remain on the same page where it comes to priority changes, business needs and moreWhat Skills/Experience Looking for
Strong proficiency across Test Automation
Java - Strong programming skills and demonstrable record
Previous dealings with tooling such as Junit/TestNG/Selenium/similar
Good understanding of backend architecture and API testing
Previous exposure to Agile working and associated methodologies/practices
Ideally some skills across CI/CD offerings along the lines of TeamCity/similar
Proactive testing techniques (RCA, etc.)
