As an industry-focused institution, the University seeks to be sector-leading in its effective engagement with industry and to strongly support the regional economy. The Senior Communications Officer (Bilingual) is an important role, working within the Enterprise Team managing the communications and promotion of a wide range of projects, services, initiatives and courses.
The Senior Communications Officer (Bilingual) will work directly with other members of the team to promote primarily through Social Media platforms such as, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. They will be responsible for the updating of the Enterprise teams web pages on the university website ensuring clear and up to date information is available for our external stakeholders.
They will manage team members where appropriate and will also work closely with the university’s Marketing and PR team, to feed through stories for publicity purposes.
This role is based at the university’s main campus in Wrexham, but is flexible to allow for some hybrid working. To be considered for this role you must be fully bilingual as you will need to be able to communicate and produce written content in both English and Welsh.
