Site Supervisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Site Supervisor to join a dynamic team. This hands-on role involves supervising daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supporting the delivery of high-quality work on time and within scope. The Site Supervisor will act as the link between site teams and project managers, ensuring smooth and efficient site activities.
Key Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor include:
* Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
* Provide clear instructions to site teams and contractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
* Monitor and record site progress, including daily reports and as-laid details.
* Ensure all site work meets company standards and adheres to health and safety regulations.
* Liaise with the project manager to report progress, address issues, and highlight additional work requirements.
* Oversee the implementation of RAMS and ensure safe working practices.
* Support the team in resolving site challenges and maintaining high-quality work standards.
* Assist with resource allocation, including materials and equipment management.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a supervisory role on construction or utility sector sites (electric, gas, or water preferred).
* Relevant qualifications or demonstrable experience in electrical or civil engineering.
* Certifications in Health & Safety, including Manual Handling and CSCS (NRSWA Supervisor preferred).
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage site teams effectively.
* Organised, proactive, and capable of problem-solving under pressure.
* Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
* Experience with CDM regulations and H&S policies on utility projects.
* A strong focus on continuous improvement and site efficiency.
