HR TEAM If you’re a people person, we’re the team for you The HR department plays a key role in supporting Silverstone’s wider strategy of sustainability and diversification as we recruit across the business to support this exciting shift. Silverstone’s success comes down to the talent and commitment of its staff and the HR team are essential in managing the integrity of the recruitment and hiring process, the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, as well as policies and procedures that impact the wellbeing of the staff and company. We are approachable points of contact and know how to get the best from people, and during the event season we play a special role in being responsible for operational welfare support to the wider teams. JOB PURPOSE As Silverstone continues to grow, we are thrilled to expand our People & Culture team by welcoming a new People & Culture Partner. The role offers an exciting opportunity to provide hands-on HR support while being a skilled stakeholder manager within dedicated business units. You will work closely with the wider People & Culture team to ensure we deliver a seamless, consistent, and professional HR service that helps drive business success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Proactively partner with key stakeholders, mitigating risk and identifying opportunities and solutions to people matters. Act as the trusted advisor and strategic partner to key stakeholders across your designated business units in relation to all the elements which make up the employee lifecycle. Act as the first point of contact for employee advice and queries in your business units, providing timely and effective advice on a range of people-related queries. Collaborate with the wider People & Culture team to support effective recruitment and resourcing strategies, ensuring we attract and retain top talent. Guide and coach leaders on best practices for managing performance, conflict resolution, and employee relations, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. Provide people insights/analytics such as presenting analysis on payroll, training, compliance, management and staff performance. Champion the rollout of People & Culture initiatives, including employee engagement programs, benefits, performance management, and internal communications, ensuring these initiatives align with business goals. Ensure consistent application of People processes and procedures across business units. Partner proactively with the People & Culture team on broader business projects and strategic HR initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness. TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES Help to create a positive and proactive culture and environment within the business Professional presentation both physically and in all aspects of work and conduct in order to reflect the Silverstone values Operate in accordance with SCL Health & Safety Policy at all times PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Ownership and delivery of key projects Performance will be monitored against the following: Objectives set through the Personal Development Review (PDR) process Budget management Ownership and completion of in a timely manner Teamwork KEY RELATIONSHIPS Silverstone Management and Staff (inclusive of Escapade) HR colleagues WHO WE’RE ARE LOOKING FOR Enthusiastic and supportive team player with a strong sense of teamwork and a willingness to contribute where needed. CIPD Level 3 Qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of HR experience in a generalist role. Confident in advising managers and leaders on all areas of people management, with a strong understanding of UK employment law. Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance issues. Able to think outside the box to develop creative HR solutions that support both people and business objectives. Willing to work occasional weekends and evenings, as required in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the business. Proficient in IT tools, including Excel, Word, and familiarity with HR platforms such as Select HR/Select Pay (desirable) SUSTAINABILITY We don’t just look after our team and our fans.
