Job Description
The Financial Controller is responsible for:
* Maintaining the integrity of financial accounts for overseas entities, ensuring reconciliations between local statutory accounts and management accounts are accurate.
* Leading projects involving the establishment, restructuring, or closure of international entities, ensuring compliance with advice from Group Tax, Legal, HR, and Treasury, and keeping all relevant stakeholders informed.
* Managing relationships with third-party accounting and payroll providers, onboarding new suppliers, setting service expectations, and ensuring adherence to agreed control processes.
* Identifying opportunities to streamline and standardise processes, such as implementing a uniform T&E system across all entities.
* Developing and maintaining the overseas entity Manual, outlining processes and procedures to be implemented consistently across all overseas territories.
* Authorising funding for overseas entities, balancing the need for liquidity with safeguarding Group funds from risks such as FX losses or fraudulent activity.
* Providing relevant data and updates to Division Finance Directors, Business Partners, and the Financial Planning and Analysis team to ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory frameworks.
* Chairing geographical meetings with Tax, Legal, HR, FP&A, and Business Partners to address overseas entity-related matters.
* Responding to audit queries and ensuring timely resolution of audit points related to overseas entities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful International Financial Controller should have:

* Experience in a global finance role.
