The role of the IT manager is to run the day-to-day operations of our Spring London and Milan offices. The role is based in London, with oversight of the Milan system. The successful candidate will have a proven track record, demonstrating strong IT knowledge across Mac and PC systems and be able to successfully develop the IT department, to service both onsite and offsite teams. The role holder would ideally have experience in a production space (ecommerce and post ideally), with a good understanding of the IT workflows to ensure a streamlined, crisis free operation.

* Day to day running of IT department, inclusive of onsite support and crisis management (as required.)
* Effective onboarding of new starters into the business, with IT training provided.
* Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing first class service in IT.
* Ensure all IT policies and procedures are up to date.
* PAT testing of IT items, ensuring listed and up to date.
* DSE assessments of workstations (training will be provided.)
* Responsible for advising, planning and buying all IT equipment and services, in line with budget.
· Develop and maintain IT budget, with reducing cost and driving operational efficiencies in mind. Look at ways in which investment could drive business performance positively.
* Oversee management of IT 3rd party contracts and vendors, mobile phones, servers and infrastructure. Ensure rates are competitive.
* Maintain accurate inventory and replacement schedules
* Manage servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories and storage etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
