We are a happy, caring, and inclusive primary school that is at the heart of our community. The governing body is seeking to appoint a motivational, experienced, enthusiastic and exemplary professional to work alongside the Headteacher by taking a lead role in managing and developing our school.
The right candidate for this deputy headship will have a proven track record AND can plan strategically, have the ability to motivate and inspire a varied team of teachers in new strategies to improve teaching and learning over the whole school. The successful candidate must also be an excellent teaching practitioner and hold high expectations of what all pupils can achieve.
The successful candidate will:

* Be an enthusiastic, fun, inspirational, innovative teacher with proven teaching and management skills.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills;
* Be committed to maintaining high standards and continuous improvement;

* Implement and demonstrate a clear vision of the ongoing development of this successful primary school;
* Be an effective people manager who is committed to their own and their teams' development.
* Be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of achievement and behaviour and a commitment to developing the emotional and physical well-being of pupils.
* Be passionate about inclusion, and have an excellent knowledge of ALN within the primary sector.
