A ‘Good’ mixed secondary school in Newton Abbot is looking for a Business Studies Teacher to join them from January. This is a full-time role teaching at KS4 and KS5. This is a long-term role that would run for 2 full terms.
Business & Economics Role:
* Strong knowledge of the business and economics studies curriculum at KS4 and KS5.
* Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
* Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
* Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them progress.
* Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
* Compliance with the school’s policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Business & Economics Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience teaching business studies at key stage 4 and key stage 5.
* A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
* A desire to contribute to the vibrant school community and engage in extracurricular activities.
