Group HR Manager
Are you a dynamic HR leader ready to make a real impact? We are seeking an experienced Group HR Manager to join our growing organization. In this standalone role, you will provide a full range of HR generalist support from both an operational and strategic perspective across multiple sites.
Role Overview:
As Group HR Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership teams, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure the people agenda aligns with business goals. You will lead HR strategy, oversee people-related budgets, and champion the development of policies and initiatives to foster a positive, compliant, and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement people strategies to achieve organizational goals.
2. Manage budgets related to recruitment, training, and employee engagement.
3. Coach and support managers to enhance their people leadership skills.
4. Oversee employee training and development activities.
5. Lead recruitment, onboarding, and employee benefits management (pensions, life assurance, EAP, private health).
6. Serve as the lead on employee relations to ensure compliance with employment law.
What We're Looking For:
1. CIPD Level 7 qualification in Human Resources Management.
2. Proven experience in a similar HR generalist role.
3. A track record of coaching and developing managers.
4. Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best HR practices.
5. Experience in an engineering or technical environment is highly desirable.
The Package:
1. Salary: £55,000 per annum
2. Car Allowance: £6,500
3. Benefits: Private healthcare, life assurance (4x salary), Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
4. Working Hours:
1. Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
2. Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
5. Travel: Occasional monthly travel to other UK sites (2-3 days).
