Salary: £30,000 - £40,000.
An exciting opportunity for an experienced geotechnical consultant looking for a new position in the ground investigation field has presented itself. The niche Environmental Consultancy, based near Aylesbury, works on a large variety of geo-environmental and geotechnical projects and can provide the resources and support to expand your skills.
The Geotechnical Engineer position offers:

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a range of responsibilities, which includes:
1. Overseeing site investigations.
2. Groundwater and gas monitoring.
3. Soil and rock logging.
4. Communicating with clients.
5. Mentoring junior team members.
6. Factual and interpretive report writing.
To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer position, you should have a degree in a subject relevant to the position, for example, geology, earth sciences, or civil engineering. Experience in the geotechnical industry as an engineer or consultant is essential, as well as a Full UK Driving Licence, as travel to sites will be frequent. You must also have a full right to work in the UK and live commutable to Aylesbury. You should have good communication skills, an ability to work within a team, and be/working towards chartership.
