My client is looking for an AV Technical Service Manager, they are a leader in the Pro AV space and have delivered some ground breaking installations for exhibitions, art galleries and museums, they are about to see a huge upturn in projects, so they are making sure they have an excellent technical services function to look after their existing client base.
They are looking for someone that has a good technical understanding of the AV technology sector, ideally you will have been a project/support engineer that has moved into a support or service management role. They need someone with experience, ideas and the drive to lead and develop this function, you will have excellent client relationship skills and be able to talk calmly and confidently to resolve any new or ongoing issues.
Experience required
* Worked on frontline AV support
* Have a strong AV technical background
* Previous management experience of a support or service function
* Experience with AV projects including testing, fault finding and installation.
Key responsibilities
* Take ownership for service level agreements (SLA) and time and materials agreements
* Be the first point of contact with the clients and manage any issues quickly and effectively
* Engage proactively with clients, to build knowledge, strengthen relationships and identify business development opportunities.
* Ensure service delivery KPIs are met and exceeded.
* Lead and manage a team of service engineers and engage freelancers when required.
